This is a beautiful part of the Italian Riviera that we stayed in for three days. As the name suggests (if you know how to count to five in Italian…) there are five towns along cliffs with hiking tracks and a train line connecting each town. We did a lot of walking with great scenery. We also ate gelato, pizza and pasta. Gelato was a nice treat after a long hot walk with lots of steps (that’s my excuse anyway).

It was too cold for swimming, but we went to a sandy and a rocky beach (like Bundaberg’s beaches). The water was so inviting with its bright blue colours.
