Some highlights from Vienna. There was a fantastic playground in the gardens of Schönbrunn Palace (meaning "beautiful spring" – it was like a mini Versailles) outside of Vienna.
The interactive toys were designed for adults and kids. There was a labyrinth, mazes and many other fun things. We don’t have playgrounds like this in Australia… See the videos below for the crazy metal flapping bird and a model of Archimedes' screw.
This is St Stephens Cathedral (completed in 1104). There is so much detail put into old churches – it has a fancy mosaic roof.
This is a small selection from a blanket advertising campaign on the Vienna Metro and bus stops. They were everywhere – at some stations it was the only advertising. I can’t think why H&M would have trouble selling bikinis in Vienna… land locked country... 500km from a beach... windy rainy 12 degree weather… only €4.95!
