Buley Rockhole is nature’s five star spa (I didn’t make that up that is what it says on the National Park’s board). It has more than 5 pools each joining with little water falls. Crystal clear and blue. A bit fresh until you get used to the water but perfect. The beauty of this could not be recreated artificially. Highly recommended.
After our afternoon swim we went to Florence Falls further down stream from Buley Rockhole.
The bush camping ground at Wangi Falls is very popular and the sites were all taken when we arrived late in the afternoon – so we headed down the road 4km to the Litchfield safari camping ground.
While we were in Litchfield National Park for two days we saw large termite mounds, many waterfalls, swimming holes and it was smoky as there was burning off occurring throughout the park.
